Penetration Manager - Validation Tab

The Validation Tab helps in validating the configuration data and clash data. The data is defined and the changes are applied in the respective configuration file by using the Review option. The errors vanish from the Validation Tab once the ranges are available and data is populated in the Penetrations Tab of the Penetration Manager dialog.

Description

Group by

The Group by option manages the project tree by sorting with either the Warning or Error header. It consists of the following two options in the drop-down list: Severity and Error type.

Note: For Missing Configuration, if you create penetrations without any Cut Offset, Added Top Offset or Added Bottom Offset values, it will allow you to create penetrations with the same element size.

Column List

Lists the error details such as severity, error type etc, in a grid format on the right panel.

Setting	Description
Error id	Displays the error ID of the penetrating elements and host elements.
Severity	Displays the severity of the penetrating elements and host elements.
Error type	Displays the error type of the penetrating elements and host elements.
Description	Displays the description of the penetrating elements and host elements.
Clash id	Displays the clash ID of the penetrating elements and host elements.
Host element category	Displays the host element category, for example, Wall.
Host element family	Displays the host element family, for example, Wall.
Host element type	Displays the host element type, for example, Default Exterior Wall.
Cut element category	Displays the cutting element category, for example, Duct.
Cut element family	Displays the cutting element family, for example, Rectangular,Round, etc.
Cut element type	Displays the cutting element type, for example, Default.
Host element id	Displays the host element id.
Cut element id	Displays the cutting element id.
Cut element size	Displays the cutting element size value.
Actions	Selecting Review opens the Penetration Configuration dialog from where the data can be defined.
Add/Remove Columns	Adds or removes columns from the column grid by selecting or deselecting the columns from the drop-down list.

Configuration

Lists the configuration files from the drop-down.

Clash check

Lists the clash check files from the drop-down.

Ignore All

Ignores the warnings or errors that are generated.

Refresh

Re-validates the cutting elements and host elements data.

Closes the Penetration Manager dialog without updating any changes.
